winter in the city: alice’s tea cup & bubbles

On Friday, Mar and I slept in and then took the train into Manhattan to see my mom after her surgery. I didn’t want to go alone, so we made it into a day trip and went to Alice’s Tea Cup, Chapter II on East 64th Street after visiting my momma. (More photos from my trips into the city with Mom will be stuck in another blog post later on – there’s so many!)

Alice’s Tea Cup is a fabulous place. It’s magical. It’s a place where you’re encouraged to order off the kids menu, eat lots of dessert, and drink lots of tea. There are over a hundred teas on their menu. Of course, I got hot cocoa, but Mar got the Trafalgar Square tea and it was so good.

We walked over to Central Park because it was a beautiful day and Mar and I have never been to the city together before

This post is awesome. I’d love to visit that tea place (100 teas and you got hot chocolate?!) and your bird dress is sweet!
