test roll, pentax k1000
A few weeks ago, I picked up a Pentax K1000 at a flea market up in the Poconos. These photos were the test roll just to make sure it was still functioning – I’m probably going to sell it to a good friend :)
all shot on the Pentax K1000, 50mm f/2, Fujifilm ISO 40o
Photos from my shoot with Emil.

Emil made me throw flowers into the water as part of my job modeling for him.

Chris and I traded off and took photos of each other at my brother’s baseball game. We have almost the exact same photos from last year, too :P

My brother, watching old school Scooby Doo on a Friday morning with me.

Emily and I made Nutella crepes one night. (Well, she made them. I ate them.)

Photos from my shoot with Blake.

I must have not pressed the rewind button properly, because the camera started making a weird cranking noise that was definitely not normal. I stupidly opened the back of the camera to check, hence the light leaks. This is from my shoot with Taylor.

My mom’s lemons & cutting board.

Lastly, photos from the Flickr meetup!

By the way, if you’re a rising senior, schedule your senior portraits before the end of August and receive a discount on your session! :)

i have this same film camera. i’ve not shot too many rolls with it, purely because i don’t really know what i’m doing when it comes to film. but it looks like you did an excellent job with these. even the ones with light leaks look brilliant. well done! :)
I was going to comment on one of these photos on facebook but didn’t want to be a supreme creeper…that one of your friend in the water on the road is my FAVORITE. I can’t actually remember ever seeing that sort of thing happen in person (though I probably did when I was younger, at the beach) but it gives such a wonderful nostalgic feeling…if I was there, I surely would have shot half the roll just at that spot :P
